Hey everyone. I'm creating this mostly for myself, but hopefully other modders will also find this information useful.

I would like to gather some statistics of what everyone thinks the most important qualities in a large mod are. By large mod, I mean something that adds a lot of content, such as a new big questline, a world remake, a new town, and so on. I am currently working on a new city mod myself, so everyone's opinions will be invaluable. I put this in the general discussion as the poll is not meant for only modders, but more for the general player who uses mods. Even if you do not use mods, think about if you did try a large mod, and what qualities you think are most important to you.

So what ones do you think are most important to you when looking at and playing a large skyrim mod? Sound and Audio? Texture quality? Detail? Environment design? Lore? Voice acting? You can choose more than one, but please try to restrain yourself to choosing only 2-3 options!

If you do not see the thing you would like to choose in the poll, please post what you would have chosen. I maxed out the answer limit, so I cannot add anymore. Also feel free to add any additional comments or opinions, it is greatly appreciated!

CTDs are hell on a stick.

That is why I love mods authors that go out of their way to make compatibility patches and do one thing really well rather than try to reinvent the wheel

Polish! Without a doubt.

I study the MOD authors page in detail. Then I read every comment in detail. I do this before I install a MOD because I am looking for reported bugs, CTD's or anything else that will tell me how the MOD may possibly perform in-game. I currently have 89 MODS installed and no issues or CTD's.

I have tried more than 150 MODS. But any MOD that exhibits any probs get de-activated. Sometimes this is very sad as there are some great MODS I would love to be using. But how does it enhance my game if it breaks it?

Polish. I hope in the end your poll reflects that as the number one requirement.

A large mod will either replace and/or expound upon existing mods functionality, or it will allow existing mods to integrate nicely into their mod. That and Stability are 1a and 1b - everything else is gravy. Edited by fraquar

The poll is really surprising me! So far it has not turned out anything like I had expected. I expected more focus on quests and maybe lore, but it seems polish and immersion is even more important to some people. I look forward to seeing the poll when there are 30+ votes

Mod that adds tons of new content < Mod that doesn't break the entire game
