cojaca2 Posted May 20, 2012 Share Posted May 20, 2012 Blender is a free modelling program that many people like. There is also 3ds max, which is free for students but otherwise needs to be paid for. That said, if you don't have any experience with modelling, it will be a while before you're making anything complicated, so be aware of that before you start. jet4571 Posted May 20, 2012 Share Posted May 20, 2012 (edited) Atleast with Blender and Max there are thousands of tutorials to help you get going. But to go with those 2 programs you will need a program to make the texture, so you will need at the least The Gimp, Paint Shop Pro, or better Photoshop with the needed plugins for DDS and normal map support. Gimp is free, the other cost money. plenty of tutorials on how to use them as well. Then once you have it done you will need Nifskope and the nif plugin for max if you chose to use it and the CK to make the esp or esm.
