Calling all Vampires Advice please!!!

This may have been covered before but search did not give me and present decisive mods..

OK. a wee surprise for me, call it my moods, or bored or both.. I finally after all this time, decided to have a real go at the dark side.

 

Oddly enough I have always played neutral, but have a need at this time, to to just dive into being a real dark *censored* in game...but a intelligent one. Not just pointless mayhem, but a more sophisticated touch to the mayhem..

 

The list of Vampire mods out there is daunting , and I want some feedback from you more experienced creatures of the night here....Sarya especially you as you seem the vamp expert here..well as I read, the most versed..

What is the most, well realistic in the sense opposite of Bethesda's version of less blood makes you stronger unrealism..to more you drink stronger you get, more according to 'myth' vampires..in other words more realistic vampires.

 

I am looking for the best experience now that I decided to do this after all this time, and have a more immersive playing vampire.. mod..A bug free one..well bug-less as possible

 

I already been turned by Vincent , am playing as a custom race half Orc/Elf male..which kinda fits the bill for me, for first time playing opposite sex, I couldn't seem to play a darker character as a female, never played before as a male..so as a male I seem to be doing fine thus far..level 3, am willing to begin again if a mod needs that..

 

But I find the lack of realism, boring..blood and feeding is suppose to make you stronger, not weaker..When I decided to delve into this, I don't care to do things half-arsed..

 

I have latest everything, OBSE 15 and did Dl the OBSE Vampire Race Disabler Plugin, by Scanti..that starts with every game, as far as togglign on or off, skin colour ,( a pale looking Half Orc/Elf with very green skin not so good) toggles eye color , morphing and vamp load fix..ect..which adds 5 lines to your ini file..but that's it..

I have this lovely glowing mystic blue eyes...from Cappucines Vamp eyes..That are a wee bit haunting , look right through you I shall keep..so I leave that unchanged.. Red or white so boring..limited...

The point is blending in, when one needs to..

Also have one more mod. a merchant upstairs abandoned house over DB that sells you humyn blood for those moments when your caught, and need a quick fix before you find your next victum..

Blood Is Everything mod, I have looked over, ability to change others, and flows with somewhat what I am looking for, but read its very buggy..but so do others look interesting..but..I do not what to load and unload just to try..you have a basic idea what I am looking for here, if not ask me..

 

So newer out, or tried and true still working realistic and immersive now Creatures of the Night Vampire mods suggestions and why..so I can get the full immersive expierence ...Ok creatures of the night...lets here from you..all..

 

I want to hear from those who have tried and done, not those who have just heard..about..

"Blood is everything" mod is not simply buggy, it just seems not to be balanced well - your character's state will degenerate very quickly - and no fast travel, mind you.

Otherwise "Blood is everything" seems to be similar to Scorn's Vampirism, which is what I use with minor changes to fit my preferences. Scorn has only a few downsides, one of which includes a really minor change to character's face, but it requires careful use. Wouldn't advice it to levels less than five. Also, it seems to be an abandoned project. Scorn uses "vampirismless" approach - good for the appearance.

 

There's also a line of mods stemming from Kiyoshi's vampirism. They are just a little bit simpler. And well, without the "vampirismless" thing.

 

There's a "Vampirismless vampires" mod - it only removes the appearance change and is not compatible with stat changing mods. As well, there's no two stat (stat meaning the technical side) changing mods known to me that are compatible with each other.

 

The mods that have a good reputation and that I haven't used but really intended on some points are "Aundae in Cyrodiil" and "Terran Vampires". By the way, it can be a good idea to try now as I recently changed computer and don't yet have a transformed character.

 

Note that Circ's Vampire Aestetics and Vampire Race Disabler do not affect vampire or porphyric haemophilia scripts in any way, so they are compatible with stat mods.

I have the Vampire Race disabler, which is nice for its OBSE plugin.. and true to its word, your face does not change..or if you have some cool vampire eyes, or skin, if your green , for such white is terrible mix..ect..Its handy where each line can be toggled on or off, in you ini file, which helps..

Ok so I will take your advice, and give either of those two ones you wanted to try a go..meself..

I just read the entire long Documentation in the DL.. on Terran Vampires now this is what I am talking about something that makes you have to think to calculate, to plan this is complex..That is what I am looking for not a mindless mod, but one that gives you a challenge to do..I think I will take the plunge with that one, the challenge in it, the choice of clans, and the whole thing is difficult I like difficult as Sagittarius it appeals to me, to be challanged..and to think..Go with that suggestion, I will try it..
