ElvenHeroine
how is it going nero? (: Dude, don't bump the threads. Anyways, here is something interesting... you should consider emersing LOD into the world of Nirn rather than changing Nirn to emerse in LOD. Like instead of creating Winglies, just focus on creating a New Moon and create lore (books) about it that reflect in a way that is acceptable as an alteration to the world of the Elder Scrolls without doing so much adding. Like maybe the Moon has something to do with the Dwemer and thus explains why it is there, because the Dwemer are back. Of course this means working with the Dwemer mods, but it shows an interest in what really happened. And maybe instead of Dragon Spirit Orbs, you could have it be Aedra Spirit Orbs in which the Imperial Amulet of the Kings was one of them, which explains its power. The Heart of Lorkhan could be considered one as well. Of course the Amulet of the Kings had been destroyed, but you can have the Dwemer's whole disappearance and reappearance explained as the following: The Heart of Lorkhan as the Amulet of Kings has the ability to alter the Existence, the Aurbis in which the Void and Aetherius reside. Thus, it be said that the Dwemer had used the Heart of Lorkhan to escape the impeding doom of the alliance of Chimer and Nord, because of this they appeared to had disappeared. Yagrum Bagarn was a test pilot or guinea pig for this endeavor, but had manage to return after his kin used it to transport to a different location in the Aurbis. However, the Dwemer would not stay out of Mundas forever, they will return. And their return could coincide with the emergence of the Moon that never Sets, a new moon that faces Tamriel thus never sets. It is actually an artifact that the Dwemer had found in a realm outside of Aetherius and Oblivion, but from it they entered Aetherius and slaughtered the Aedra, turning them into items of power reminscient of the Dragon Spirits that allow you to become Dragoons. Unfortunately, the lack of balance has caused a disruption in Mundas and the Planes of Oblivion allowing newer more dangerous monsters to emerge. The Dwemer had to abandon their moon and reside back on Nirn where they seek to reclaim their ancient dwellings throughout Tamriel. The monsters followed them and the artifacts made in the same manner as the Heart of Lorkhan (which by the way was reclaimed by the Dwemer and forged into a new item like the Dragon Spirit Orbs from LOD), but it too has now be spread across Tamriel. Those who even claim one of the Aedra Spirit Orbs (reminiscient of the Dragon Spirit Orbs) has the power to rule over all man, mer, dovah, and beast throughout Nirn. I propose the following Scheme by the way: Akatosh = Time (Indigo, Bluish-Purple), Found outside MundasDibella = Fire (Light Red), Found in MorrowindArkay = Phantom (BLACK), Found in SolsteimZenithar = Blood (Dark Red), Found in HammerfellMara = Water (Light Blue), Found in PyandoreaKynareth = Wind (Light Green), Found on the Mountain: "Throat of the World"Stendarr = Holy (Silver), Found in High RockJulianos = Mental (Yellow), Found on the Summerset IslesLorkhan = Gravity (Violet, Reddish-Purple), Found at the Core of NirnMagnus = Lightning (Purple), Found in the secret realm of the Psijic OrderY'ffre = Wood (Dark Green), Found in ValenwoodTsun = Metal (Grey), Found under WhiterunTalos = Earth (Brown), Found under the Imperial CityZ'en = Acid (Orange), Found in Black MarshBaan Dar = Rust (Gold), Found in ElsweyrYsmir = Ice (WHITE), Found in Atmora --------------------------------------------------------- The Basis of these elements works like this: Fire is good against Ice, based on Heat vs ColdLightning is good against Water, based on Final Fantasy X and easy to understand theme that water harms electric things and electricity is super effective to wet thingsRust is good against Metal, Rust makes Metal brittle and breakable and Metal crushes rustAcid is good against Wood, Acid harms Wood and Wood tames AcidEarth is good against Wind, Earth blocks Wind and Wind Erodes EarthHoly is good against Phantom, Light vs DarknessGravity is good against Time, Einstein as in Gravity warps Time and Time warps GravityMental or Mind is good against Blood, Mind vs Body And all vice versa you can use Mind instead of Mental to better prevent confusion between Mental and Metal. Mind, Psychic, Mental, psyenergy, Psionic, whatever------------------------------------ This is a huge undertaking, I am not asking for it to be done, but it easy to incorporate this using the mods other people have created like Moonpath to Elsweyr to have access to Elsweyr and the Morrowind-Skyrim project that will grant access to Morrowind. And the elemental bit can be incorporated from a variety of magic mods already available. As for possible harm to lore, this aspect can be incorporated after the story arc of Killing Alduin, Killing the first Dragonborn, ect... As a result that you are likely to be in Solsteim by the time this story arc begins, you are likely to start off with the Aedra Spirit Orb of Arkay (Phantom/Darkness Element). To find the last one, (the spirit Orb of Akatosh) you have to adventure throughout Oblivion and Mundas and find all the Elder Scrolls which unlocks the final Aedra Spirit Orb. This is just an idea. You can equip the Aedra Spirit Orb like it was a relic, like a necklass, and you can activate it like any transformation. And of course you turn into a Dragoon. RPGXOmega
Hmm any of the final weapons from LoD would be great. Like that one Lenus? uses near the end game. Also any hair styles would be cool too. Also that armour would be a great idea. Edited February 22, 2013 by FantasyDivine
jabaho
To be honest i was just wanting the armor and mabye the Dragon Buster sword but elvenheroine's idea sounds really awesome. IF some wants to do it that then i would definitely download. The seven spirit armors are virtually the same but different colors and Dart's Ultra Dragoon is indeed pixle lated but not so bad enough to the point of it being unrecognizable. Just add two sets of wings and i think one extra and attach a giant cannon on his left arm and there you go. Roxax11
I understand this is old, but I have a suggestion if anyone is working on it. Use a script, so that when you have the stone in your inventory, it adds a power. This power called "Spirit of the {} Dragon" would transform you like the vampire lord form, you would have the wing flapping animations and such. But, use the melee swinging animations for attacking in this form. It would give you several lesser powers, these being the several Dragoon Magics available to the player in LoD. These are accessed through the favorites menu just like vampire lord powers, the difference being that they're only used with the power button, not equipped in a hand. So, for example, Dart's would be "Spirit of the Red-Eyed Dragon" His powers would be Flame Shot, Explosion, Final Burst, and Red-Eyed Dragon. A large firebolt, a rapid fire fireball attack, an attack that launches the player forward creating a blast of fire on impact, and a power that does something along the lines of firing a projectile that is made from the dragon incineration animation, but the entire dragon of fire thing. Sounds difficult, but anyone who did it would be considered a god among modders.
