russader Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 I have had three mods installed for awhile now and all three do exactly what they are suppose to do. The first is A Chingari and Ismelda Demon Race http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=14528 The second is A CM Partner Companion Demon Azazel http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15351 And Finally, A CM Partner Companion Kaleah and an alternate Succubus ver http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=13350 Now the problem comes in that my buddy came over to play and decided to play as the "Demons" race associated with Azazel. Both he and myself were completely impressed with the beast and had tons of fun with him. The only drawback was the lack of flight associated with the Chin demon race. While thinking about it I decided I wanted to give both the "Demons" Race and "Kaleah" race the flight spell from Chins. I opened the construction set, loaded all three, and added the demonic reset spell to both. No good.So I added the renew spell instead, same. So I had the bright idea that perhaps it has something to do with being seperate mods, so I selected all three, merged them, then added the spells.... Well, this made matters worse because instead of being able to add the ability this way, it actually took it away from Chins. :( Re loaded the original .esps and deleted the merged one. (fingures tapping on desk while thinking. "Okay." I thought to myself "I can settle for a half @$$ed fix. So I figured I'd simply use the console and type player.addspell "X" whenever starting the new game. I got the spell ID's from the construction set and tried it.... :verymad: It said "Blaw blaw blaw no such spell, did not save" :wallbash: Well lets see if perhaps it truely is race specific. PSB. "1068 spells added" There it was. all the demon spells. and they all worked. Both Azazel and Kaleah could fly, battleform, immunity, the whole nine yards. but now I had every bloomin spell in the game and that was certianly not what I wanted. Any ideas how to do this correctly so that these twos races can have flight should you choose to play as the same race as them. Any help is appreciated. Gasilli Posted July 23, 2008 Share Posted July 23, 2008 A really long and painful way would be to remove the spells you think have nothing to do with it, and then keep eliminating spells until you get a minimum amount of spells with it still working. Unfortunately removal of any non-official spell seems to have the same result as trying to add a non-official spell where the console says :P It could be that the IDs that are being displayed in the construction set are not the actual ids in which case how would I go about truely finding out what the true IDs are? Well, this is pretty messed up, I really have no idea whats up with that, I'm not really familiar with these mods, but all I can think of is some mod isn't enabled. Hows that for a useless answer?
