You uploaded a translation of another mod containing the files/assets of the original mod, generally not allowed.

In addition: The files/assets by the other author contained in your mod were uploaded without the original author’s consent.

 

Details

 

 

Translations of other mods generally must not contain any files or assets of the original mod.

 

In addition, the original author explicitly has requested to be asked for permission before use of their files/assets on their mod page:

„Asset use permission

You must get permission from me before you are allowed to use any of the assets in this file“

You ignored the origina author’s requirement/request.

 

Furhter on: You gave general permission for use and redistribution of your translation mod that contained files by the other author. You can only give such permission for files/assets you created yourself.

Your „Permission and credits“:

„Author's instructions

free for all“

You cannot give such permission for files/assets by other authors contained in your mod without the original authors‘ explicit permission for that purpose.

 

In your mod description you stated:

„Ihr benötigt NICHT die original Mod, einfach die hier installieren und fertig.“

Translation without liability: „You do NOT need the original mod, simply install this here and done“

 

That means that you were aware of a transgression of the Terms of Service and the correlating permission requirements.

 

You have removed the mod yourself.

You did that without furhter comment or reply after

• you had been contacted by a member of staff that formally addressed the issue as described above,

• the mod had been placed under moderation with permission to edit mod details and the request

o that you edit mod details that way that you remove the files of the original mod/by the original author,

o that you provide a stand-alone file requiring the original mod to work and

o that you add a link to the original mod in „Requirements“ and/or your description.

Such permission must be indicated in the Readme text attached to the file and/or on the Description page (or in the Description field for images), and must be obtained in advance, before uploading the file. If you cannot provide proof of consent then your file will be removed and your account is likely to be banned.

If you are providing a translation service for a mod in another language then you cannot upload any of the content from the file you are translating (this avoids issues with your version being out-of-date with the original authors file). Your translation should be a stand-alone addition that works in conjunction with the original file and you should link to the original file as a mirror or in your file description.
