I was just doing some armor mashups when I opened the powerarmorcomplete.nif and this is what I got:

PowerArmor.PNG

Arms have gone to hell so I opened it again thinking NifSkope messed something up and it's the same. Can't say that I saw any other armor that does this. So, is this OK? And if I edit it, will it look like this in-game (I sure hope it won't)?

I'm sure it's the same for me, must just be the way it's set-up .Remember that not everything looks the same in Nifscope and in-game o_O

It looks that way for me too. I wonder if it has something to do with the shoulder things pivoting forward when sitting in the armor?

this is no error or bug it is placed there cuz its skeleton is linked in a different way to work propper with the arm animations without clipping the lower arm part with the upper arm part...back in game it looks completley normal

if you wanne make a mach up just use this as the main construct and put it in the powerarmorcomplete.nif together...hope this helps a bit

Well, I imported it into Blender and it didn't look that way, it looked normal. So I just imported it and exported without changes and I honestly can't see the difference in-game, it's exactly the same and there's no clipping (other than the usual).

i meant the standart uneditet file...if u import and export it with a free-ware programm it might look different and do work aswell...i never said it would start clipping if you redoo it

oh boy ;)

...and soory if my message was misleading in any kind...
