missjennabee
http://i1265.photobucket.com/albums/jj502/missjennabee/pineapple%20vision/windhelm1.jpg amazingly awesome. I'm going to do a bit of dungeon exploring, but so far (in cities\towns) I really do think the light\dark contrast is pretty perfect. I've long taken issue with the lack of dark-dark nights, especially since candles don't actually provide nearly as much ambient light as this game would have you believe. The lit areas are well lit but not so much as to be unrealistic and the dark\shadowed areas are a huuuuuuuuuge improvement.
kellsbells08
i agree completely i think the towns look great at night. for me personally though i think the dungeons could actually be a bit darker - this is of course more of a preference than an actual critique because i just happen to like my caves DARK. i want to NEED the torch, ya know? but i'm not done exploring with this yet, and the caves i've investigated have all had non-natural light sources (campfires, etc) from bandits and the like. i've been taking a bunch of awesome pictures i'll start posting some in the am, and i can't say enough how much i LOVE this. especially for someone like me who really has no grasp of all that ENB stuff this is a life saver. :pirate: .. i just really wanted to use pirate face. missjennabee
@ kellsbells08: I disagree lol. I fell down a hole in Skyhaven Temple and I couldn't see my hand infront of my face until I torched it up. (perfect). @ JoPineapples: So glad you have testers aren't you? No one can ever agree! (I'm totally right though).

biggestkid
When will this be released publicly? Or has it already? Also what exactly does ENB stand for?
JoPineapples68
@ biggestkid This is a work in progress and will be probably a small exclusive release, as when you release something on the Nexus you get 1,000,000 demands of you and i personally don't have the time or the inclination. There is no Official explanation,(Even from its designer Boris Vorontsov:"Best you don't know"), Is as much as anyone has got from him about what ENB actually stands for. What it is......is an overlay which is adjustable to your taste by code that runs on top of a game to make it look better basically......and this is my version. There are lots on the Nexus as it is just put in a mod search for ENB 8-) @ MJB The dragon/sabrecat pic is all down to Skytest, its a very good lore friendly animal attack mod......foodchains, wolfpacks etc. Whilst on the subject have a look at SkyRE as well, really well worked mod. @MJB/KB Nights in towns/cities i also think are ok, though i did make a bit of a tweak last night that i think looks slightly better. On dungeons/caves unfortunately some goompa at Beth decided it would be good to put some daylight light settings in them, so however you try ......it ain't gonna get dark unless you lose the lighting totally which just looks odd to me. IE you have a point lighting brazier fire giving off no light just to make it dark, even though its flaming away?? Nah!! The way too really tell is dark areas in the dungeons/caves, ( As MJB found out LOL), or by trekking through woods/tundra at night, (Specially in thunderstorms if you have the "Immersive Thunder & EDWS" mods, turn the sound up lol), that's what i'm trying to get at more. On that subject.....if your not using a nightsky mod, have you loooked up on a clear night ;-) Tell me what you think. I'm liking what i'm seeing so far and i would REALLY like to see more of Blackreach THANKS!!! (Never been there 8-() My utmost thanks on your input Jo Edited May 23, 2012 by JoPineapples68
