Game isn't working(maybe bcz of mods), help

When I open Skyrim, it loads for a while and then(right before the New Game etc menu appears) it closes.

I use Mod Organizer 2 and SKSE and I have these mods (in the order that I post below):

Well, that's a looooong load order. ^^ It's almost impossible to find the culprit in this list.

 

So, some basic things first:

- How many plugins do you have installed? Possibly you're simply above the maximum of 255 plugins.

- Did you use LOOT? With a load order like yours, this is absolutely mandatory.

- You should use a "bashed patch" (created with "Wrye Bash") OR a "smashed patch" (created with "Mator Smash"). Again, mandatory with such a large load order.

 

- You don't need all the "Bijin" single files, if you got "BijinAiO". It is meant to replace the single esps. Disable the single esps like "Bijin Warmaidens" etc.

 

What happens, if you try to start the game without SKSE64? I'm asking because the symptoms you described (CTD "on black screen" before main menu or anything else) are often caused by outdated / incorrectly installed / partially missing mods dependent on SKSE. If the game starts without SKSE, this would narrow down the possible culprits.

 

If that doesn't work, the last resort would be to disable mods (10 at ta time or so) until the game starts, then re-enable the mods you disabled last until you find the "culprit". Problem is: This is not only tedious, but the results can also be decieving, since it is often not a single mod, but a certain combination, that causes the issues...

 

To avoid problems like this in the future, only install a few mods at a time, then test. This way it's much easier to find the culprit, if things go wrong. Sorry to say, but problems like yours are what you get for careless modding.
