Midas magic spells list

I recently downloaded Midas Magic mod, apparently it works well, I found the shop and bought the book listing all new spells, they look great, anyway I was surprised that there is no description of the skill level and/or magicka amount required for each of them.

Actually, this is quite a problem for me, as my character is still low-level and his skills and attributes are not that good; in fact, considering the ingredients required for the spells are in some cases very rare and/or expensive, I risk to spend a lot of time to find them and eventually I wouldn't even be able to cast my new spell!!

Therefore, I was thinking: is it possible that, despite Midas Magic being one of the most downloaded mods ever, there isn't a list reporting the skills and magicka required for each spell?

If so, do you think anybody would be so kind to prepare it? I'm sure the whole Nexus community would be grateful to whoever will do that

You knows midas magic has like 400+ spells (some are test) so i doubt anyone is going to make you a list but i can safely say that without mana boost bonuses (or midas cheater brand). Cheapest is 60 and spells like midas nuke can go up to 1800. Average mana cost is 200-400. :armscrossed:

(you could do this: setstage midaspsb 42 = all spells low cost, every spell class is fortifieid by 100+ so enjoy cheaters brand XD)

Finally an answer!

Ok, first of all, thank you very much for your reply; as you look quite experienced with this mod, you could maybe help me with another question.

I was considering to uninstall this mod, as I don't like the way it works; anyway, I've read somewhere it also introduces new quests, so it could maybe be worth to keep it installed just to try them

Could you please explain to me how many new quests this mod adds and how to start them? Do they involve the creation of some midas' spell?

There are 2 Midas Spell books, Aurum Assimilator Manual, and Midas Memoirs. Two spells require specific Daedric Artifacts (Wabbajack and Mace of Malog Bal). Essences come for breaking down Sigil Stones in the Assimilator. Other things are obtained on the Astral Plane (portal in Midas' basement). Midas Magic does not add any quests to the game. Some other mods may add quests to Midas Magic. Quests as such, are finding specific ingredients. These spell are designed to be had to get for the most part.

Sure, you can do this the normals (Hard) way.

What I decided to do, only after reading ALL of the in game information over very carefully, was do a combination of of player.addspell and player.additem + the Aurum Reactor. I only wanted to visit his shop once and be done with it.

Midas indeed adds at least one quest, as I entered the Astral Realm and my log was updated with a new quest, even though the message reported is quite cryptic; I just wonder if this is the only quest or there are more to discover? Are they somehow associated with the creation of new spells? Are they worth to be played?

Interesting. However, since I do things differently, I never run into that. Midas has at least 2 additional spell books in his store inventory, bring the total to 4 or maybe 5.
