Rennn
A mod to stop Skyrim's music from changing every time combat begins could be well-liked, but it seems to me that it'd be much easier and more effective to take the xwm files from Skyrim, convert them to mp3s, and let people download the mp3s to play in windows media player, as they play Skyrim. Would this constitute a breach of copyright or a violation of Nexus rules? If either is true, I won't do this. Edit: Sorry, wrong section. If someone can move this to a more fitting section, perhaps mod talk or the general discussion, that would be appreciated. TheVampireDante
That would be a copyright violation.

Cynster
You might be able to change it via the creation kit but I haven't really looked into it. I would assume that is where the music is defined, something to do with starting combat with the player. You could change it to an explore music. Rennn
Probably, but the music would still change suddenly. I think I'll just leave this for someone with more scripting skill.
AlexanderJVelicky
How music is managed in terms of when what catagories play is all hardcoded. And distributing files not required by an esp (And therefor requiring the game) isn't allowed. You can change the music catagories, but not when they are played or how...
