Help NPCs are bald and black

I started to have this issue when I moved SSE from my D: drive to my C: drive. I would have just kept the game on the D: drive but none of the combat sounds worked. Everyone said to move the game to C: so I did. The combat sounds fixed, but then other issues popped up! At first, the NPCs were not black and their hair was just a shiny silver or purple color if they had their hair changed by diversity to an apachiiskyhairmale or apachiiskyhairfemale hairstyle. I'm pretty sure the apachiiskyhairfull styles worked fine on my character and on the NPCs, as well as the vanilla hairstyles. I tried to unistall and reinstall diversity and the apachiiskyhair mods and this is when the NPCs started to had the dark face glitch and no hair I believe. I uninstalled all of my mods accept for The Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch, exported all the actors in CK, and then the game was fine. I reinstalled all the mods and it came back again. I am a noob to this so please don't hold it against me if I did something really stupid.

I attached an image of the issue. I realized that a possible reason for this issue is that I am using Nexus Mod Manager and it is still on my D: drive? I'm not sure. I appreciate any help I kind of just want to play Skyrim!
