NaruNagi
Hi all I'm working on Porting Skyrim Winter Overhaul from Skyrim to SSE. I'm not releasing it but I will be using it on my playthrough. I just need advice on converting certain patches for heathfire and dragonborn to sse since its all included for sse unlike legendary.
JWGamimg75
So basically:1) If you already know the basic porting process already (placing the 32-bit ESP(s) in the DATA folder) you have to open each ESP individually in the CK and saving each one, individually. This will convert the 32-bit ESP file to 64-bit. So, if there are 3 ESPs then each one will need to be converted, one after another, opening the CK 3 times.2) Each NIF file needs to be converted/optimized for SSE -- this is easily done by using SSE Nif Optimizer.3) No need to worry about DDS files.4) If the mod is dependent on any other mod that is not ported to SSE/64-bit then it too will need to be converted/ported for SSE with the same process. I hope this helps! There are some good tutorials on Youtube that show how to port for SSE.If you can't figure it out then let me know, I don't mind taking a stab at porting it -- of course only for personal use -- and send it to you.
