Download failure from cdn.nexusmods.com

I'm new to nexusmods and I found that I cannot download any mods from nexusmods.

The direct download URL I got always begins with "https://cdn.nexusmods.com".

If I try to download from my home internet (in China), I will always get a connect timeout error to the port 443 of cdn.nexusmods.com (The ping to cdn.nexusmods.com works just fine)

And if I try to download from some VPS server I owned (for instance, amazon AWS) using wget, I will always get a "no route to host" error as the result. It seems that the cdn.nexusmods.com server will reject requests from certain IP ranges (or all IPs?) with a icmp-host-prohibited. (see the !X mark in the result of traceroute)
