OBmodist
I'm playing the Xbox version of Oblivion, and I am having THE hardest time killing an Imperial Watch man.My process:-Took Deepscorn Hollow, bought the farm, collected chokeberries.-Took all the food out of the Northeast Watchtower, and pickpocketed the food out of my victim's pocket.-Placed the chokeberries around. Then I just waited. I wait an hour at a time for the guards to come in, sit down, and start eating. But here's where the problem happens: Ever since I took the food out and placed the chokeberries, the guards have stopped eating. All of them. Even though I only stole the cheese from one. None of them will even sit down anymore. Why won't they frickin' sit down? They just stand around and do nothing for hours. I waited an entire day, hour by hour, and none of them sat down to eat once. Also, what's this I've read about a glitch where the poison effect will stick with the next guard that respawns in the dead guard's place, so that the new guards will just eternally drop dead forever? (In the notes section.) Sometimes it seems like I can't do anything in this game without worrying about tripping over some ruinous glitch. =( Tell me this glitch isn't true. And any suggestions for how to kill an Imperial Watch would be appreciated. I'm trying to do it in a practical way that won't incur a bounty.
