bubbakill7
I've previously modded Skyrim using Nexus Mod Manager and Mod Organizer about a year ago. I recently got back into the game and found that I was not able to install mods directly from Nexus with MO and I would have to use MO2. So I install MO2, and start modding, and I'm having some great fun with my mods and all. After I finished a good chunk of the game and did most of the content in my Mods, I reset all over and installed Enderal. I found that Enderal wasn't really my style of play and uninstalled it. Then I added back all of the mods that I had previously and a few more. Upon loading Skyrim, I soon found that NPCs do not speak. If I turn on subtitles, the dialogue is subtitled, but the NPCs do not speak and their mouths do not move. I spent a good deal of time trying to tinker my mods and uninstall them one at a time to find where the issue lies. After I couldn't find what was wrong, I decided to disable and uninstall all mods. Still nothing, everything is silent. Then I attempted to uninstall and reinstall Skyrim. The vanilla Skyrim, when loaded, was working fine. Much to my excitement, I went on a new spree downloading new mods and some of the old and upon starting back up, I found out that, again, the voices were not working. This followed with a number of uninstallations and reinstallations, but nothing changes. Skyrim works completely fine without mods, but as soon as I load even one mod (and it doesn't matter what the mod is), Skyrim freaks out and NPCs cannot talk. I've looked around and seen similar problems with some people who have used Enderal and have improperly uninstalled, but considering I uninstalled all of the Skyrim files, I can't find out what's wrong. Could it possibly be a problem with Mod Organizer 2? Or has some weird/malicious/corrupted mod messed up my game in some hidden folder that I can't access? Grospolina
Mod Organizer (1 or 2) keeps separate copies of your Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini. Each profile has its own copies.MO stores profiles in Mod Organizer\profile\profilename by default.MO2 stores profiles in C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Mod Organizer\profile by default. You can copy your INI files from Documents\My Games\Skyrim into your profile folder (back up the current ones first). Alternatively, you could create a new MO profile and that will copy the current INIs.
GamesDum
Hey,I know it was in year 2018, but I have the same issue.I am german and I wanted to reinstall Skyrim SE with the englisch language. I read that I just need to start the original launcher first. Now: When I start the Vanilla skyrim it works fine with all the voices. But when I start with MO2 the Launcher OR SKSE64 then the voice sound are not available. Just a few lines, when I talk to them.I copied the INIs from MyGames into the default folder by MO2 but it doesnt work. What can I do?The rest of the modded game works and is perfecty playable.
