Do i have to get new permission to port content from another game if a modder already got it?

Tera, The Witcher, MGSV, and (apparently) Halo 4 & 5 are among the few games that some modders got direct permission to port content to fallout/skyrim. If i have some content from those games that has not been ported, do I (personally) need direct permission, or is it now fair game for the community?

wow, that was a fast response!

To focus in: I have Halo 5 models that i would like to port over. The commonwealth spartan mod also does this. I plan on porting content that got missed (or i think i could do better). On the modder's page he links to this (https://www.xbox.com/en-us/developers/rules). Judging by the literature provided, it should be ok; so i guess i'm going to start working on it, unless anyone tells me otherwise.

it seems like Microsoft does generally allow for porting their contents , under the rules mentioned on that page

so you need to make sure that whatever mod you end up releasing follows those rules , as well as obviously following the rules of the Nexus

but in this case it seems like you don't need any special permissions to use the assets

If it's Bethesda then it's unlikely and that have been like that for ages, which include their own games as well e.g TES game series.
