No Shield Recoil!!!

I hate seeing my giant two handed battleaxe bounce harmlessly off an enemy shield with a silly thonk sound, and I want to never see that specific animation again. Could someone change two handed attacks so that they go THROUGH enemy blocks? The damage reduction from blocking can stay, but the weapon must be able to complete its swinging animation without being interrupted.

Thanks in advance, and please, PLEASE make this happen.

I suppose IRL weapons can interact with shields in myriads of different ways. Bounced off, getting stuck, parried, broken, etc etc. But that's not really what I'm looking for though. I just want to look cool while wrecking things.

Sorry for the double post, but how would one actually go about making this mod? What values do you have to change in the creation kit? I've been rummaging around the object menu of CK a bit, and as lost as I am, I get the feeling that there must be some sort of value that I just gotta check off or something.

My search in CK continues, and I think I may have found something. I went into the player actor and there was an animation tab that showed all the animations available to the player character. And there were several recoil animations in there. Perhaps what I need to do is remove them or replace them with regular attack animations? But I haven't been able to find anything that lets me do something like that.

But there must be another way right? The recoil animation must be triggered by something, and if I can just disable that trigger then it should be gone for good. But that'd probably have something to do with scripting and I know zip nada about those.

I know many modders are busy with life and work and I understand that they may not have the time to make this mod for me. But could someone at least point me in the right direction? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
