David Brasher
Does anyone know exactly how to stop an NPC in a tavern from standing up and going to stand in front of the bard and sway and act drunk while he sings "Ragnar the Red" and certain other songs? Certain NPCs already do not do this, like the innkeeper or a potential follower I have seen. They remain where they were before the song all throughout the song. I want to make one particular new NPC added to a tavern not go listen to the bard.

jet4571
I hope it works, there's nothing in the faction and just 4 uses. I just checked the use info and that seems to be quest related. Edited May 25, 2012 by jet4571
David Brasher
I tested it out in the game and it does indeed work. These other actors like the innkeeper and the potential follower are somehow not using the revel animation for some other more complicated reason. But the solution you provided would be the easiest and most usable by modders who add NPCs to taverns.
jet4571
Well I'm glad it worked, I've been giving it to some of my NPC's who i didn't want to party but never really tested it. Now I am curious as to what the quest thats attached to the faction is. I thought of something else that may be the reason some party and some do not, maybe the mood setting. neutral and they ignore the bard, happy and they party. So if you make happy NPC's and dont want them reacting to bards add them to that faction. I may test that one out myself.
