LordSoth123
G'day,Been playing around with exporting a few .nif models from the meshes.bsa file, and I see that there are a lot of actors missing?Like all the players, races, horses etc that you can view in the Skyrim Workshop. Example - http://www.members.iinet.net.au/~rathbone3/Skyrim1.jpg All those actors are not in the meshes when extracting - http://www.members.iinet.net.au/~rathbone3/Skyrim2.jpg Is there something I'm missing or overlooking? I've done a search but can't seem to find it anywhere :(
Perraine
Ahh ... many of those use the same meshes i.e. most of the 'humanoid' races use the same basic meshes, sometimes with just a different texture file ... Perhaps if you were more specific? Is there a particular actor/NPC/creature you are looking for?
LordSoth123
Well not really, I was just wondering where they were...If I were to put my finger down to some, where are the horses and the races, like the orcs or the khajiit?Just seems to be heaps missing, I guess like you said they are probably just the same model but with different textures :(

Perraine
The simplest way to find out is to double click on one of the creatures/characters in the CK and have a look at what model is used ... there is only 1 'horse' mesh but several 'texture' variations, then to, the game also has things like "leveled lists" which basically randomly generate a combination of meshes/textures/items to create a seemingly larger number of characters than there actually is
LordSoth123
Ah thank you very much for clearing that up for me :) I was going to ask if there was anyway I could find what model it was using and you already answered it. Muchly appreciated for the quick reply :)
