Hi all. So I tried to do some modeling, nothing big, just to edit some existing model, so I exported Disciples cowl into .obj, I edited .obj and I tried to put back it in the game BUT game don't read it and Creation kit crashes when I try to view .nif. It don't crashes when I double click on file, then opens option window but if there I click on "edit" then it crash.

Help me please and correct what ever I did wrong.

I just polish lower part of the cowl. Please explain to me what I did wrong because I'm lost. I'm sure that I did wrong something in Nifscope, but I don't know what.

Here is my "work":

Open DLC04\Armor\Disciples\DLC04_Armor_Disciples_Heavy01_Helmet_M.nif

It should look like that. You have some wrong entries.

I'm not an armor expert but by comparing the two it should be fine if you just copy what you see in the nif i posted. I think your file path should also be for example "skyrim76\Meshes\\Armor\DisciplesLight2\DisciplesLight2.nif" not 100% if that makes a difference but file file paths are crucial.

See if that works anyway.

Thanks for answer.

I exported original meshes but I want to make standalone mod so I paste my mesh over Green hood and it works. I add paths to all and for now it's going so so, I'm learning and i will done it in the end, but now I have another "little" problem :D When I equip hood its under my feet but it moves with me.

I positioned hood and transform to the normal size, I also center it in bounding box...BUT I missing something, so do you have any idea how to solve this?

Tutorials are for girls. I will learn but I'm learning hard way.

I will try with original mesh but then, as I remember, it has some paths to DLC and I don't want Dlc, I want to make standalone mod.

Ok, ANY advice is welcome.
