the movie Gladiator

Base on the movie Gladiator could anyone reproduce those armor in the movie and apply it to Oblivion =)?

 

i was watching it just then and i thought it would be awsome if it is in the game

 

i had a look there is around 10 set of armor and more then 20 weapons u can see in the movie

 

looking forward o it =)

HEY!! THATS A GREAT IDEA!! Mate Gladiator is a LEGENDARY FILM!! I completely agree the armor should be made. I was actually thinking of requesting this myself. I really was!! I think it would be fantastic if there was a Gladiator mod with a huge quest from gladiator so it would be like a NEW gladiator game :D. The gladiator storyline could be the quest:You start of as maximus (You'd need to make a maximus race r something eg:Russell crowe) and you are a general (With the armor: Maximus General Armor that must be made aswell.) Alone with your army and you fight the Barbarians as in the start of the film.

(And start of the quest) Commodus Ceaser is an NPC and he murders his father Marcus Aurelius in the quest, then soon you (Maximus) is against it and he soon finds his family murdered and then you fall asleep somehow on that part and you wake up as a Gladiator in a cage going through Egypt as in the film. (again you'd need like Horses pulling a cage on wheels. And you make friends with that guy who talks to him. Etc Etc Etc. But at the end you don't die you just fight Commodus and kill him.

 

 

I honestly think it would have to be a Gladiator Total Conversation.

 

But it would be like a new Gladiator game :D.

 

Lol sorry I know that wasent what you requested its just armor but thats what I think. I support you way through this request man :D.

I can give pictures from the movie

I have the film downloaded on my PC. I can take screenshots from it of Maximus and other characters and all.

So I can give pictures for you if thats ok :). I'll take good ones.

Here I got some, some are from the film and some arnt, most of them arnt I think.

 

 

 

 

 

There is also the battle of Carthage Armor (Armor he wears with the Helmet) but I couldn't include it cause it was took big a file size.

The Gladiator boots i showed are worn on all Armors EXCEPT the finale Armor I think. (When he battles Commodus at the end)

He has like shin guards on him that are black and with a fancy pattern similar to the pattern on his chestplate.

So you could use the iron armor Boot's mesh for that. All armor's are similar to eachother just different minor parts included (Eg:Carthage Armor at the right he has one Shoulder plate protecting him which is the same shoulder plate as the Spaniard Armor (2nd Picture down).

As for the Maximus Gladiator Helmet....I have it on my PC.

 

Don't know who the author is....but I found a 3DS model file on my PC (don't remember if I downloaded it or someone else), I rigged it for Oblivion but never tried it out.

 

Anyway it still need some edit (will take care of that) around the ears section.

 

So...one part of your mod is done ;).

Now you need to find someone to actually make the armor :P

Cool! Ill go searching for the helmet right away. At least that will be a start. :). I was gonna request this kind of mod myself but coincidentally crazyfencer did instead lol :).
