Workshop scrolling CTD was Nvidia HBAO+

This was not an issue I had originally but eventually scrolling through the catalog of available items in workshop mode would cause a CTD sooner rather than later if I didn't scroll very slowly. It became my biggest frustration rather quickly since I had to keep exiting to save if I didn't want to be pretty much guaranteed to lose my work.

Eventually I tried "potato" graphics settings and didn't have the issue anymore and after testing found that I just had to disable Nvidia's HBAO+ to avoid the problem. I can still use the vanilla SSAO.

So in Fallout4Prefs.ini

[NVHABO]

bEnable=0

This is obviously just an issue with Nvidia cards and not relevant to AMD.

I'm not sure it mattered to CTDs elsewhere, such as simply walking through the countryside or settlements, but it definitely caused the issue with workshop scrolling. If I re-enable it I get the CTDs again.

I generally keep up to date with Nvidia drivers although don't install the beta versions. I have 398.36 at the moment.

I run on Windows 10 (x64) with 64GB of memory and have 2x GTX1080i and play in 21:9 3440x1440 and also use ENB .344.
