ChrisHighwind Posted May 26, 2012 Posted May 26, 2012 Recently I purchased Fallout 3 GOTY Edition on Steam, and began to add various mods that I knew had worked before, and they did work. But now, recently, I've come across a problem, in that when I try to launch Fallout 3 (whether it be through FOSE or FO3 itself), the game crashes on the logos, perhaps at a point where it would normally allow you to skip to the main menu. I've tried everything, disable some mods to see if that was the cause, changing the load order, and actually unchecking every single data file in my Data folder except for Fallout3.esm (and disabling mods in NMM as well), but the crashing persists. I thought it was FOSE's fault, but after deleting that, it keeps crashing. I've tried verifying the cache. Still crashes. The only thing I have not done is delete the local game files from Steam and re-install, is that what I have to do? Prankster707 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I got the same problem, I tried editing the .ini file and limiting my CPU usage to 2 and then to 1, pretty much said screw it and deleted it and am now redownloading. dsfnashflspjfq
