ShadowStriker7
Hey there, I've encountered a very weird bug. Basically, I realized various NPCs were missing from various cities and decided to jump to them in the console. Lo and Behold, I found out they were underneath the city, even more stranger, in the Skyrim cell, not in the city cell. I was wondering if anyone has had this bug and could share any info as to how it happened or any fixes I can do. Maybe I should just kill the originals and place down copies? Thank you in advance! IBN5100
Hm, this could "probably" be caused by Open Cities, have you used it in the past and uninstalled it? I'm sure there's some stringent uninstallation procedures you must follow to uninstall that mod.

May have to go forth and see if the ESP is just disabled or if it's completely uninstalled, thanks for suggesting. EDIT: Could be a problem with that, since I apparently have uninstalled it with NMM some very far time ago. Going to try waiting massive amounts of time to see if that fixes it. IBN5100
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8058 Read the green part and the red part. It might help you out. Uninstallation InstructionsUninstalling Open Cities Skyrim=============================== Oh, now why would you want to go and do a thing like that? :) But, since this isn't going to be for everyone, and you may decide you don't like what it does, the following procedure needs to be followed to remove the mod: * Load your game, and move to a location away from any of the cities. Don't use an interior attached to a city for this. Save and exit the game.* Deactivate any patches you installed for other mods first. Load your game, then save in a new slot and exit the game.* Remove the patch ESPs from your Data folder.* Deactivate the ESP. Load the save you just made and save again in another new slot.* Uninstall Open Cities Skyrim from the game. Steam Workshop users should unsubscribe first.* Be sure the ESP and BSA files are removed from your Data folder.* Rebuild your Bashed Patch if you have one, as it is possible it may have pulled records from the mod. You will need to allow 48+ game hours to pass for AI to recover before returning to the cities. If NPCs are missing, you need to LEAVE AGAIN and either go do something else for awhile or wait for a longer time period before coming back. I'm beginning the process of simply re-installing it, running it once, then un-installing it the correct way to see if it corrects the problem. EDIT: Success! That seems to have killed the problem. Thank you for your help! :) Edited May 27, 2012 by ShadowStriker7
