Steam and disk?

7.50 USD for all three Mount and Blade, Warband and With Fire and Sword. Funnily enough, the DLC was priced 10 USD, so all three games costed less that a single DLC for Warband :P

These deals are good. Nothing more to add. :armscrossed:

If it's for a console, a CD is preferable.

If it's a portable gaming system, a mix of chips and downloads is preferable.

If for a computer, Downloads, but only if I can buy a card to redeem the ability to buy them with, such as a game-stop card.

That's my thoughts anyway.

And there was that offer when Napoleonic Wars was launched, 7.50 USD for all three Mount and Blade, Warband and With Fire and Sword. Funnily enough, the DLC was priced 10 USD, so all three games costed less that a single DLC for Warband :P

this almost makes me buy it again :psyduck:

steam is not that bad financially-wise, just wish it were not so invasive

I'm sorry. I live in SA, and show me where Skyrim costs R700 in a retail store, please. I don't think even the console version costs that much.

If you want to lie, at least do it somewhere where there aren't fellow South Africans who can point out your lies.

It was an estimate. R700 is the average price for a video game in south africa so i used it. It was never a precise calculation and acusing someone of lying when they used a estimates is pretty rude. Im pretty sure the price at launch was R650 or something so please think it through before you blatantly accuse someone of lying.

If that is the case, your estimate is far wrong. The average price of videogames here in SA is half that. Buying Skyrim for PC from TakeAlot, it actually cost me R339. The highest price from a retailer didn't even go over R400. That's a far cry from your R700.

If you want to use something in an argument, at least make sure you've got your facts straight. Nobody will take you serious if you 'estimate' and it's that far off.

R700 is the average price for a video game in south africa so i used it.

That is a blatant lie. Want to see my purchase history from TakeAlot over the last year?

Now where is the price of an average game R700? Get your facts straight, don't make them up as you go along.

TakeAlot? I have never heard of that place i buy mostly at BT games and thats where i get my prices from.<br>PS. Why are you being so hostile? If I read that list right you <u><b>ordered  </b></u>them from overseas and had them shiped to you. That is why you are getting better prices. Seriously are you always this hostile or am i special? <br> Edited by Eddieawsome

I'm merely pointing out your lies. Stop lying and distorting your facts. Those games are not imported, those are local. If I import those games, their price doubles. You'll notice that the only imported thing is the LotR souvenir right at bottom of the list.

And you are still lying. BTgames' prices are much the same as TakeAlot's. Check some prices on BTGame's official site.

Risen 2: R355

Mass Effect 3: R325

Diablo 3: R469

http://www.btgames.co.za/bt/infopage.asp?A05336

Seeing as many of those games on my list were preorders and their prices should be down by a lot, let's look at some current preorders;

Darksiders 2: R345

http://www.btgames.co.za/po/poinfo.asp?A12915

Inversion: R345

http://www.btgames.co.za/po/poinfo.asp?A08699

Max Payne 3: R435

Prototype 2: R345

Spec Ops The Line: R345

http://www.btgames.co.za/po/poinfo.asp?A06585

Need I go on?

So, honestly, where are your R700 average games? You've been caught blatantly lying, now just admit to it instead of digging yourself a bigger hole.

Honestly. I mean. I LIVE in South Africa, and you want to come tell me some rubbish story about how much games supposedly cost here?

Not even the average console game costs R700 here any longer. Stop lying already.

And while we're at it, have a look at this pre-order round-up for Skyrim done by MyGaming on the 9th of November.

http://mygaming.co.za/news/features/15449-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-pre-order-roundup.html

BTGames: PC R335, Console R499, free delivery or collect from store

Zapsgaming.co.za: PC R328, R498, free delivery or collect from store

Takealot.com: PC R329.95, Console R499.95, free delivery

Kalahari.com: PC R328, Console R498, free delivery

Exclus1ves.co.za: PC R350, Console R535, free delivery

Look & Listen: PC R399, Console R599, Collect from store

Notice BTGames' price, the one you claim to buy from? Nowhere close to the R650 you claim to have paid. Not even the console one was that expensive.

let me point out: A) those are either pre orders or games that have been out for a long time and B) You have managed to take a thread about where to buy games from into a argument about south African games prices , Ok i admit i should have done more research before posting it but there is really no need to go out of your way to make me the lying stupid idiotic bad guy. This forum is supposed to be fun not a place where a every detail of every post is to be examined and verified.
