jselles
Hello everyone, first of all let me warn you, english is not my first language, so please bare with my grammar, also you may notice this is my second post, I am not sure if this is the correct section to post this. I am using the following mods:Better Vampires by Brehanin 4_5Dues monsRV Vampire eyesSnow white vampiresMultiple Marriages-Spouse Dress Up-Rehousing-And More FinalCalientes Female Body Mod Big Bottom Edition -CBBE-Ashara Romantic Outfit for CBBE - UNP - FavoredSoul The situation:I am turning Deus mons into my private vampire coven. I use the better vampires mod to turn all npcs inside deus mons, and some selected npcs into vampires, and i use the multiple marriage mod to move them to the castle. At the moment in the living quarters i have a total of 10 npcs (7 of them are part of the deus mons, while the other 3 are female victims). The issue itself: I have read that there is a bug when transforming npc into vampires where their faces turn grey(dark tone) while the body skin tone remains unchanged. I have also read (tested and it works) that you can open the console, select the npc, and use the "setnpcweight" with any value and the issue solves itself(temporary at least, until you change zones). I have looked for a solution to this issue but i have not found any real solution. So i decided to attempt to creat a batch file so that when i enter deus mons(living quarters to be precise) i can run the batch file and change the weight of those npc where the bug is most notorious. The problem is that even thought i can see the batch file commands run, i see no change at all, for some reason it won't work, i have to do the change manually. Below you will see the batch file i am trying to run, and 2 screenshots, one with the bugged face, one after i run the setnpcweight command. Batch file:prid 1982fsetnpcweight 0setnpcweight 100prid 198eesetnpcweight 0setnpcweight 100prid a2c94setnpcweight 0setnpcweight 100prid 19e06setnpcweight 0setnpcweight 100 bugged face on Hroki (yes I know she is hot)image#1 unbugged after setnpcweight commandimage#2 Please let me know if there is a way to do this with a batch file or if there is way to solve this issue(other than waiting for bethesda to solve it on a patch). Thanks in advance.
David Brasher
If the NPCs start out as vampires in the mod which added them, then you should be able to use a procedure like this one to permanently solve the problem: (1) You .esmify the .esp in Wrye Bash and then load it in the CK.(2) You select all the actors added by the mod.(3) You press CTRL + F4 to export facegen data. (It takes awhile.)(4) You .espify the mod again using Wrye Bash. This approach will not work if you are turning non-vampire NPCs into vampires through in-game actions. Hi David, thanks for the reply, but that is exactly the case, i am turning non-vampire NPC into vampires using the "Better Vampires by Brehanin 4_5" mod. So this solution won't work. thanks for the reply thought. Edited May 27, 2012 by jselles
