[LE] Skyrim VR crashes when adding npc follower's mesh files

So, I had the old brown-face bug and, naturally, to fix it I exported the npc's facegeom. However, Skyrim VR (being the programming masterpiece it is) now crashes whenever the npc comes into view. I have no clue where to start on fixing this...
