Just wondering if anyone knows how to make an item moveable in the workshop? I've looked online but cant seem to find anything. I've tried to add the linked reference 'WorkshopAllowMove' and linked it to the workshop, but it didnt seem to work. Just curious if anyone knows how to actually do it, thanks!

If you mean yellow outline highlight to grab and move then you need a _co constructable object recipe to construct and/or scrap the base object and the workshop will recognise it.

Items\Constructible Object, filter on workshop_co objects.

Start with Workshop_co_scrap*, cant remember if that will make something movable. If not you will need a construction recipe which may clog up the build menus.

[e&oe building stuff is not my area]

If an object has a scrap recipe (has a yellow outline), making a new recipe won't make it movable. If there is no outline, making a normal build recipe will let you move it.

In either case, using Place Everywhere will let you move it without messing around in the CK. The things that won't be movable with Place Everywhere active are anything that is part of a precombined mesh, and you'd have to break precombineds for those objects (which most scrap mods do for anything within vanilla settlement bounds) in order to be able to move it*.

*regardless of whether you are making it movable using Place Everywhere or by creating a normal build recipe
