IlanF
I'm following the guide in the Creation Kit wiki to add Papyrus support to Notepad++ and I'm stuck at the syntax highlighting. The wiki says to save the file as XML and import it in the 'User Defined Language' dialog, but when I try to import the file I get a message saying "failed to import"I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, I'm following the wiki exactly as it says :/ I tried the other syntax highlighting files provided in the wiki, and both of them fails to import.Tried running Notepad++ as admin, but again fails to import EDITSaved the XML with UTF-8 without BOM encoding and it worked, the file imported successfully... lobotomonkey
I fixed this issue by creating a new "blank" UDL XML file from the User Defined Language dialog in Notepad++. Then, I opened the new XML file and replaced the Settings, Keywords, and Style nodes with the ones provided in the guide. This was the only way I could get it to import successfully. NexusComa
Been using Notepad+++ to wright papyrus for years. Love it ... only issue I ever had was my bat or pop compile file would get corrupted when even I updated Skyrim via Steam.Just made a back of of the file and swap out now if I update.
