BeastlyBeast
Hey, guys. It turns out, that I got caught up in this new mod idea I had, so my WoWWR mod is going to be on 'hiatus' for a while. I'm deeper into this original idea, than the replication of a game I'm not playing anymore. So here's the info. Chronicles of Warcraft (Not a WoW spin-off) is the title of the mod. It has its own storyline and everything. The story is: You are a citizen in a town known as Starmeadow, and you have a job as a collector in a Pawn shop/general store. On your search for items, you find a sword on the ground. After your workers show you a story, you find out that the sword belongs to an evil tyrant, named Bauldron, in an alternate world, only reachable by a Dark Portal. So, once he finally finds out that it is truely the magic sword of Bauldron, he needs to get word out to everyone that Bauldron may return. The first people that truly make an effort to protect themselves from the danger, and the first who hear the news, are the High elves of Normoor. Some of Bauldrons minions attack Normoor, leaving the city in ruins, killing the king, and capturing the main character, his friends, and the guards of Normoor. You wake up, about to be executed, but you, and everyone else, manage to escape the executioners. Now, you are the leader of a small army, and need to increase the army's size exponentially, in order to kill off Bauldron. That's a quick synopsis of what has happened so far. As of now, the places I thought of (some not in the synopsis) are: Starmeadow: The story's starting point, and a small town. Nothing truly special about this place. Shadowblades Guild Hideout: The hideout, in a forest, that belongs to a group of Thieves and assassins known as the Shadowblades. One of the members becomes a main character, early in the story. Normoor: The large city of the High Elves. If you have ever seen Avatar: The Last Airbender, You probably have seen the city of Ba-Sing-Se The city of Normoor is based on that, in the sense of size and population. Elirandel: The town of the Dark Elves. The Dark Elves are very cunning, and evil. They have mastered the skills of the High Elves, but use them for more dark purposes. Elirandel's appearance would be very distinct, and in the foggy wetlands. The Dark Portal, and the Second World: This is the second world, and home to the tyrant, Bauldron. No specific cities or towns thought of, yet. So, this is planned to be a whole new storyline, with new worlds, characters and everything. My main goal is to make this mod as elaborate as it can be. I want to make sure that you can focus on the storyline, but still have tons to do, that isn't story related. Let me know what you think, and any ideas would be accepted. TY, and TTYL. Stemin
This is exactly why I told you not to jump the gun with your WoW idea. You already have changed gears and you're wanting to do another project now. Take my earlier suggestion. Finish something. Do the work as much as you can and THEN post about it. The more you keep flip flopping ideas the less credibility you have, the less people want to work with you.
