Keytosa
Hey guys. First time poster here. Previously owned the console version but the lack of realism left me with an empty feeling and sold it. I'm thinking about getting the game for PC with some hardcore/realism mods. There are a lot of them out there and is a bit overwhelming. What ones do I really need? Any others that make the game more visually appealing or you guys consider necessary? Thanks :)
Lazarus187
Welcome, Keytosa. First thing you might want to do is decide what type(s) of modding piques your interest. For example, do you want to create custom weapons, armor, magic items, or spells? If so, some of the following links will help get you started: http://www.creationkit.com/Category:Tutorials http://www.creationkit.com/Category:External_Tutorials http://www.creationkit.com/Customizing_Weapons_%26_Armor ( Specific tutorial for weapon/armor modding ) If you're simply interested in checking out other people's mods: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/index.phphttp://skyrim.rpg-mods.com/http://www.strategyinformer.com/pc/mods/elderscrollsvskyrim/mod.html Enjoy! Keytosa
Thanks man. I'm not too interested in making mods, probably just using others. I'll check it out!
jet4571
I recommend you pick what you think would be essential mods, nobody can choose for you what you like or dislike and you really should use that free choice thing and decide for yourself rather than what others choose for you. good place to start is the top lists. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/top/
