bluemarvin
Just curious... is there an easy way to make regular clutter items static? So for example, what if I want to place a loaf of bread in a room and I don't want it to be possible for a player to pick it up or move it. Is there a simple way to do this? Thanks for any responses. jet4571
Easy to do, duplicate a static item and change the model path to the breads model path. there now you have a static bread. You will probably need to export the breads mesh from the bsa to do it. I haven't figured out how to copy and paste the filepath from one to another. Thanks for the response... and yeah, that file path issue is tripping me up a bit. But now that I have confirmation on the approach, I'll get that locked down. Thanks! jet4571
use BSA Opt to extract the files. I extract the bsa files to a separate location then copy and paste what i need to the data directory. in the case of making a static from a misc item i delete from the data directory after the filepath is set. And no problem finding where the file is in the mess you extracted because you have the correct filepath in the CK. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Skyrim_BSA_Extraction
