[LE] Object window causes monitor to stop working

Short version: When using the creation kit, opening the object edit window will eventually (after 25-50 records) cause my monitors to shut off and on over and over. I have to reboot my computer via power button to fix it.

 

I have a brand new computer: (30 days old)

 

Amd ryzen 5 1400

Radeon Rx 580

Windows 10

8gigs ram

I'm running a dual-screen set up. My left monitor is an actual monitor. My main monitor is a 55inch tv on 1920 by 1080 resolution. I have Netflix (agents of shield) playing in the left monitor while I use the creation kit to edit a mod on my tv. For some reason, however, at some point in time my tv and monitor will start shutting down and restarting over and over. (Going to sleep, not powering off). So far, it seems this only occurs when I double click on a NPC in the object window to edit it's armor, packages, and whatnot.

 

I don't have all the info i'd like on the matter but I'm reluctant to do too much testing cause I feel like the problem is bad for my pc and my tv. What I can tell you is this:

 

1) The problem first occurred today but has occurred 5 times so far

2) I edited another mod earlier this week without issue but mostly changed spells and enchantments, not npcs. That said, I changed over 300 spells and effects. Only issue I ever had was having to restart the CK when a window wouldn't pop up.

3) Yesterday, my windows installed an update

4) It only occurs when running the CK and when opening up the object edit window. When it does occur, it happens instantly upon double clicking a record.

5) Once of the five times, my screen came back but, for some reason, clicking would not work properly after. I could move my mouse but no programs would recognize the left click. Only after spamming right click 10 times would the mouse work.

5) All 5 occurrences were while editing the same mod.

6) The sound from my Netflix show pops in once or twice during the reboots but not after.

 

I've tried googling to see if anyone else has weird issues like this but can't find anything. Thought i'd see if anyone here had suggestions. Going to edit another (different) mod tomorrow so I'll see if it occurs then too.
