Gravezilla
I have a problem with that first Fighters Guild Quest. The one from Cheidynhal where you have to go to the mine and kill the goblins. So I have brought the weapons to my three pals and we destroyed all the goblins in the mine and the two I ran through before entering the mine.Despite I killed them all the other members try to convince me that there are still goblins alive. I ransacked the mine like three times even with night eye. There are no goblins! So does anyone know what I could do now? Is there maby any console command I could use? I posed that question in other forums but noone answered me so this is like my last hope -.- ps: sorry if my english is bad i´m from germany
Malchik
First type 'tcl' and go though the tunnel wall to see if a gobbo has somehow got outside the statics. If he has kill him. If not console command setstage FGC06 40 will give you the journal entry saying that the mine is clear. Setstage FGC06 100 will end the quest. Just be sure to use the proper syntax on the console command, which I believe is: player.setstage FGC06

First, select the quest you want to change in your journal. Use the SQT command to see the quest id, then use the getstage command to see the stage. Usually you add or subtract 10 to change the stage, but there are exceptions. Used it earlier today on a glitch in KotN: setstage ND10 20 Wiki: Console Commands

Varus Torvyn
Gravezilla, if you cast a "Detect Life" spell, it will help you find any remaining goblins. You can see what the effect looks like by casting it while you're around the FG members. The effect will also show up through cave walls when you're close to a NPC that is still living. Also check your bearings by using the internal map layout. I use the internal maps a lot when I'm underground, since it clearly shows what areas you may not have explored yet. Gravezilla
Well, first I tried to find the gob with "tcl", of course with Detect Life. I couldnt find anything. I opened the console and typed setstage ID 40. Many many many times. It just wont work and I dont know why. I opened the CS and loaded Oblivion.esm to find out if the ID was wright and it was. I loaded Oblivion.esm again, now with all my activated mods to find out if any mod changed the ID of that quest but the ID remained the same. I am completly confused right now o_O
Leydenne
Well, I hate to suggest it, but do you have a recent save, so you can just re-try the quest? Something glitched out, probably from a mod. You could also disable all mods and try to finish the quest and then re-enable them. Or see if there is a subsequent quest stage than the one you have tried. Gravezilla
I have another savegame with a different character and there is the same problem. I tried a hundred different things, it just wont work with "setstage". What I will try now is disable the mods. Thanks anyway
