darkdill
Think you might share this silence spell with the community? It'd be great to bring back an old classic Illusion spell and make the school more useful.
tg08096
Think you might share this silence spell with the community? It'd be great to bring back an old classic Illusion spell and make the school more useful. Absolutely, the instructions that steve40 had given were pretty straightforward, although how to apply the script exactly was a little daunting for me, although easy, because I had never done this before. Create a base MagicEffect of archetype Script. To attach the script, Click "add" button in the bottom right where it says "papyrus script." in the pop up box, and name your new script. I named mine "SilenceMagic." Now click ok, and the script name pops up in the papyrus scripts box. Right click the script name and click "edit source." now copy and paste steve40's script and click compile and save. Good to go. I created an alchemical effect, so mine looks like this: I have added some ingredients to my mod Alchemy Apparatuses http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=14970, and credited steve40 for the script. Feel free to poke around in there if you like. I'm going to add some spells and maybe change the name, because the direction it is taking is expanding beyond simple alchemy apparatuses. I also used the same script to create a burden 100% effect, which is also pretty cool. Once I create the spell, Ill post another pic to show what it looks like, in case someone is unsure how to do it.

As such, I prefer to download mods when they are made. Making a downloadable silence spell available to us would be really handy. Quick and easy to obtain, sort of thing. tg08096
Ah. I mistook your meaning. Go here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=14970 Download my mod, go to arcadia's cauldron in whiterun, visit corvelia severina, who hangs out in the shop, and buy the spell tomb "hush." It's the same spell as the oblivion one - 10 seconds on target. Wisps are immune for lore's sake. I will be adding more and stronger versions soon, but I have to run out atm. maybe tonight or tomorrow. Alternatively, buy some harrada and cyrodilic frost salts from corvelia, buy some apparatuses and equip them, and make some poisons of silence. Dont forget to endorse it if you like it, and check back soon for new spells and effects.
