LE Diversity.

Good afternoon everyone. Thought id leave my request here in hopes that anyone picks up on it.

 

One of the things i noticed in game is the lack of diversity on certain armors and items. Now dont get me wrong, there is plenty of armor mods, some of them quite great (omega's one comes to mind). But there's still something missing. For example, the fact that there is only 1 type of orc armor, 2 types of elven armor (and they dont even look different from eachother), and basically, 1 type of each armor. Dont orcs have light armor as well? dont they use leather and iron? Wouldnt mind seeing an orchish leather armor for example. Or maybe even a elven steel armor (sinse steel is probably cheaper and more available then moonstone). How about dunmer armors and weapons? I find hard to belive that none were brought in by the dark elves when they migrated in mass to Skyrim. As well as weapons from different matterials and different cultures. I doubt orcs only make weapons out of orichalcum ingots, or only heavy armor for that matter. Why not orcish styled iron/steel weapons or some orcish light armor?

 

Same principle can be applied to other items, though most of them are clutter and filler items. But i would love to see torches of different kinds, as well as pottary, furniture, clothing, foods. Skyrim has a lot of imperial and dunmer presence so why not give it a bit of a flavor from those cultures? Being trough trade or smuggling im sure they could easelly find their way into Skyrim.

 

Also... why not a few more models of Akaviri weapons and armors? Could be made relics from the time when Tamriel was invaded by the Akaviri. Just wanted a bit more diversity other then a katana and the Blades armor.

 

Also... does the initial artwork shown of the daedric armor made it look more.. metally then it actually turned out? I actually prefered the artwork version though... made it look like an actuall armor and not like you were wearing slabs or rock ¬¬

 

Well hope this wasnt too much of a rant and that some good use and ideas can be taken out of this. Thank you all for your patience and to all the great and small modders out there, keep the good work.

 

Edit: Been a while sinse i posted and sinse then i had a few more suggestions/requests i wanted to add.

 

The first one is a way to get married at a specified time and date, more preciselly, specified by the player. I was wondering if there was a way of making so that the player could be the one deciding the date and time of the wedding. Reason for this is mostly i end up missing my wedding day either by being there WAY too soon, or a few minutes late.

 

The second one is more of a personal requests. Pretty much was wondering if anyone wanted to create an actually cute wood elf female companion, no need to be marriable. Ive seen a few around the nexus but they are either fugly, or require altering too much of the game content. I was hoping for a vanilla looking cute wood elf ranger type companion.

 

Thirdly... well, pretty much any/all armors (and weapons) from the Game of Thrones series/game. I know there are plenty of them around already (i myself use the Mountain one) but would love to see more, specially Tyrell, Lannister (Tywin's war armor and Jaime's guard armor), Bronn and The Hound's armor would be nice. Plus Assassins Creed has several amazing ones as well. Ill post/link a few pics to show what i mean.

Some of these are a bit impractical to make a know, but others seem to be quite easy for the people with the needed skills (unfortunatly not one of them :/ ). In any case, hope you enjoy them.
