JeffChairforce
Hey guys, I very very new to modding and I've basically been tinkering with Skyrim Creation Kit for only a few days. I've been reading and watching some tutorials online and have created my own room for my character to navigate in. What I simply can't wrap my head around is to change the properties of doors, walls, bushes so that a character can pass through without them treated as obstacles, and creating unpassable, invisible walls. For those who might be curious, I'm planning to design a psychology experiment involving people's changing expectation of interactive characteristics of everyday structures. I'm aware that this might be a very uneducated question, but if anyone could point me to the right direction, I would be very thankful.
agerweb
To allow a player to pass through objects that would normally get in the way, you will have to make a copy of the mesh (extract it from the Skyrim Meshes bsa) then edit it in Nifscope to remove the collision then go into the CK add an object and point it to the new mesh. Invisible walls can be created in the CK using a collision plane or box.
