Been writing a mod to do custom speed settingsthat you use your mousewheel(or keyboard if you want) to cycle through.Grant it, at the pace I'm going.... I'll be an old manbefore I release it.Seems like I don't have much to go but the end seems so far away.Based on what plans I have left,I'm at about the 95% mark.I've already got the horse speed settings complete as a matter of fact.Since custom mounts are treated as horses in terms of scripting,then there's nothing for me to do there.Unless someone wants their custom mount to have different speed settings from horses.Can't think of a way to make that happen though off the top of my head.
