Greave12
Just for anyone who is wondering I do have a few people helping me out. I just met 2 graphic artists yesterday and one of them has worked for EA games, both are willing to help me out here and there. That doesn't mean they'll be doing work more than likely means they will be helping me learn how to do this. Anyway just giving an update, PEACE! Don't be shy to respond and let me know what you think.
Greave12
Just an update here (I hope this doesn't count as bumping as this is relevant information and I didn't see any rules about double posting): I have been working on the story these past weeks, also been working on modeling right now I'm trying my best to understand UV Mapping and how to correctly make characters proportional. I do not have any work to show yet sorry but I am making some drawings/concepts that I will be uploading here soon. I will next have to learn how to code this stuff so I'm still a journey's away from making this mod a reality. Good news though, the people I spoke of before helping me are going to be looking at my stuff soon and one of them is very proficient in C++ (He's even worked for EA) so I should be able to learn a lot from him or at least get pointed in the right direction. If anyone has any suggestions please make them, I'll be glad to talk to you about any of my ideas on this mod. Thanks :)
orand06
Say you're fighting the Demon Lord himself... when his health gets below 10% you could have him summon an army of demons as he regenerates health... That could make it an epic boss fight at the end of the game... Just a thought. Oh, and very well thought out, and organized. I would DL.

Yea man thanks for the input I didn't really put much thought into it. I'll mess around with that idea after I post 4.0 (Which should be relatively soon). It'll be exciting to see what this turns into.
Matth85
Solid idea, but you will bump into very big problems rather big. 1) Making a chair is one thing, making a demon is something alltogether. It takes years of character creation to get a decent character done. Anything less will not be worth a release, since it will contain outdated graphic.2) Animation is a tough one, and will also cost you a few good months to learn. Fluid animations required top notch key-by-key animating, or a animation library. The former cost time, the latter tends to cost money.3) Rigging and skinning. You plan to make cratures. The problem comes with the skeleton structure. You will need custom ones. In Oblivion only SaidenStorm manged to break this problem, and that was barely. Will you be able to do this here?4) For the whole thing, you seek top notch: Character artists, enmviroment artists, scripters, level designers, animators and riggers. This is a skillset not even the industry experts got. That said, you have done your reasearch on your idea and got it down organized. That is more than 95% of the forum these days. Here is a few tips: 1) Gather reference picture and/or draw your own.2) Look for a modding team. There is no way you can pull this off yourself. At best you can try to create a human with angel wings, but not much more.3) Know what you need. You need a team, great. How many people? How much time do you want to set apart for this?4) Is something a little too much? Perhaps tune down a few things. In general, you should get a team of different modders. This is very tough, but if you plan to mod for years to come it is very helpfull. Once a modding team, always a modding team. My biggest tip on gathering a team is: - Start of small. Make 1 thing, or maybe 1 area. Show the forum what you got, and your progress. This will get peole interested. Get a concept artist, and get some concepts out there. Draw the experienced modders yo this. Other than that, the idea is doable. Nothing is too far fetched, just too far fetched for a single person with no experience. Get a team and this could be done in a few months. Cheers,Matth
Greave12
Concept art on the way! V4.0 explanation almost done also! I will most likely have these finished by next week, possibly this weekend. Thanks for being patient!
StormWalker183
Hey, are you still working on the project? I'm completely new to modding, but I find I'm rather handy with modelling (weapons only so far), especially if I have concept art to work with. If you're still active, give me a shout - I'd like to help if I can.
Greave12
Hey, are you still working on the project? I'm completely new to modding, but I find I'm rather handy with modelling (weapons only so far), especially if I have concept art to work with. If you're still active, give me a shout - I'd like to help if I can. I have the art still lying around somewhere. I am in school right now though, and I am not very good at coding though I'm teaching myself as I go. I don't see this project going anywhere time soon simply because I have no team, and no experience myself. If you want the art I will look around this weekend for you, possibly draw up some more. If you need Top, Side, and Front views let me know as I have mostly front views. If you want to get some people together for this go ahead I hope someone with the time can take the reigns. To anyone who does read this, I'd be willing to put together a team but I fear I'd be rather useless beyond story writing, concept art, general ideas, and organization. I have no problem if I am no longer involved in the making of this project to whomever takes it (if that happens) thank you to this community for being so nice. Roviakin71
For lore friendliness it should be Aetherius vs Oblivion
