voidgenesis
....I found the apocalypse spell pack. Have other people found it has totally revived their games? Live another life has been a big help as well.....playing as a mace and restoration wielding vigilant of stendarr has been enormous fun. And despite my reservations the dovahkin hideout has been great.....collecting every set of armor without using my own smithing makes loot hunting fun. Has anyone else found things that have revived their interest in skyrim?

TwiggySkyrim
monster mod plus monster mod more spawns more followers play on expert you might like it ?????????????????? sorry master not expert Yeah, I tried doing that for a while too. It gets pretty damn chaotic! I ended up having to turn them off though- on master it sucks being 1-shotted by a single spellcaster. When theres 8 of them in a single room it's pretty much gg :P
MightyZ0G
lush grass plus glorious grass plus more grass plus real wildlife skyrim equals lots of hunting fun, especially if you limit yourself to ancient nord arrows
fraquar
lush grass plus glorious grass plus more grass plus real wildlife skyrim equals lots of hunting fun, especially if you limit yourself to ancient nord arrows This for me, although I also use Lush Trees as well. That combination makes it very hard to spot the predators, as it should be. When you do spot them and can creep up on them it makes you feel like you have accomplished something. That combination has gotten me killed on more than one occasion just strolling out back of Pinewoods Cottage to use the Smelter too. Took me 3 reloads just to find out where the Red Wolf pack was coming from that ripped me to shreds.
sheepskin
360 player, so no option for mods. But creating an illusion spec'd toon got me interested again. Its a heavy investment, but REALLY fun. The concept for this character is an Argonian Shadowscale; having lived in Black Marsh for the majority of his life, he finds dealing with "softskin" customs and body (facial) language wholeheartily challenging. After much turmoil and many burnt bridges, he discovers the forgotten recesses within softskin psych which allows him to effectively alter their perception of his actions. Hence, illusion. Paired with sneak, this allows him to effectively mask any motive, manipulating the softskins to his whim. Eh, RPing a decently thought out toon always gets me to come back. I read that someone was RPing a Vigilant of Stendarr here, which sounds really fun too. I felt really bad after killing the poor sap in Markath during "House of Horrors." But ya know, the voices in your head. What can ya do? Edited May 31, 2012 by sheepskin
Dingenskirchen
360 player, so no option for mods. My condolence. ;) I'm using some of the already mentioned mods, like Syrim Monster Mod, Lush grass, SkyTEST - Realistic Animals and Predators and of course Deadly Dragons. What i use on top of that (with a bunch of other smaller mods) is SkyRe - Skyrim Redone. Now that refreshed my Skyrim experience totally! From Racebonuses to Perks, to Combat mechanic and new spells and a lot of things more, this really fights against upcoming boredom. I can just recommend it. imperistan
I'd also recommend realism and hardcore mods. Its a different style of play (and one that requires some more free time than usual) but its very rewarding and quite fun if you get into the roleplaying aspects. Try these: (no links, bout to leave the house) Frostfall - HypothermiaImp's More Complex NeedsRealistic LightingReal Wildlife Those 4 mods alone make a hunter build the most absolute funnest thing ever, and greatly enhance other builds as well. MightyZ0G
if that is realistic lighting with customisation then I second that.the way it makes the weather seem more dynamic is excellent and occasionally you get days where you need a torch and nights where you can see quite clearly. much better than nights always being dark. don't use the optional rain mod as that may cause scripting errors and it is recommended not to use the enclosed enhanced distant terrain but to use the latest version of EDT (although this is optional and you don't need to use it at all)
