OsilentchaosO Posted May 31, 2012 Share Posted May 31, 2012 (edited) I have started using GECK to pass the time,learning how to use it properly and such,and i decided to make a unique .44 Magnum for my cowgirl character (no custom textures yet,too far ahead for me) and i set the values,projectile,ammo ect. fine,but when it comes time to set the world model there is a bit of a hickup,it lists the 1st person sets,but when i set world model and model,there is no .44 magnum/revolver texture or mesh anywhere,i have everything from other mods that works fine,but nothing shows up under textures\weapons\1handpistol or meshes\weapons\1handpistol where it says the .44 should be,but i only have other mod files,they are in the game,but they are not listed anywhere in the folders,help? Cyberlazy Posted May 31, 2012 Share Posted May 31, 2012 Use FOMM's tools>BSA Browser to extract your meshs.bsa and textures.bsa (and/or tetxures2.bsa) Alternatively just start by renaming the 44 magnum editor id and geck will ask you if you want to make a copy when you hit OK on the form. you won't need the files extracted if you copy em.Alternatively, use FNVedit and manualy edit the model names in. fnvedit lets you just enter text so you don't need the file extacted to select it, just set it the same as the 44 magnum and it will work.
