could you please post an image showing your FNIS screen when you are trying to run it , including the error?

because it sounds like you are trying to use an option you aren't supposed to

I tried looking , and couldn't find such a file

the creature pack of the FNIS mod has a file with a similar name , though it's not identical

but maybe if you try to install the creature pack it will work....... worth a try

This is a problem with improperly using NMM virtual install, or MO. I'm just tired to tell that again and again when there are other (almost IDENTICAL) posts where I have answered that before.

That's why I have answered with "Have you looked for another post with the exact same problem?". Instead of following that lead he op is ending up here. Sigh.

In this case it is not important what you installed, but what you (badly) uninstalled.

"SRB Creatures"? That's a package from LoversLab. Doesn't that ring a bell? Hoe did you uninstall that? Directly from NMM's mod directory?

welp i solved that issues which was strange bc i never uninstalled it my self tho it did keep unistalling itself which i tried re-installing multiple times and finally got it to stay installed i thank you

I doubt all that.

First, I have never anyone seriously claiming NMM would "uninstall mods itself".

But most of all, FNIS doesn't make up file paths. They exist in someway and are present when FNIS asks the Operating System for directory contents. And therefore I come back to the NMM Virtual Install, even though you say you don't use it. The above error message is typical for inadequate use of NMM VI. There is a hard link at that place (which you can't see with the Windows Explorer), but the mod itself was removed from NMM's mod directory. MANUALLY, circumventing NMM's removal procedure.

i know what i saw so there is not room for doubts and like i said nmm virtual install makes no sense bc i dont trust that unless there is no other option anyway i solved the issue simply by finding the files in the paths and they showed up all as shortcuts which makes no sense as to why they did that so i replaced them with the correct files and problem was solved

Sure, no room for doubts, but a lot of messing around lol

Shortcuts ARE a DEFINITE symptom of virtual install. The difference between hardlink (as I had assumed) and softlinks (what you call "shortcuts") is that hardlinks are used when Skyrim and NMM mods are on the same drive, while softlinks are used for VIRTUAL INSTALL with Skyrim and NMM mods on different drives.

But since you only believe in what you think you see, it doesn't make sense trying to tell you facts.
