zBeeble
So... I've gotten past the "hump" in xcom2 WotC modding. I have a mod that can compile, run and take some actions. That was unnecessarily difficult to achieve. Why they only give an example of modding a weapon, I don't know ... Regardless, I would like to spit out text into the running log. It seems the most useful way to achieve what I want. But I don't see an obvious example showing how it's done. Assigning to nulls and calling certain functions seem to output into the log. Some google searches imply log(), warn() and/or CHEATMGR.<something> will do it. These don't compile. So... how do you spit things into the log? I mean ... this won't necessarily stop me ... I see examples for the redscreen stuff. So ... not impossible... but just not as easy to use. Sigh. Help?
