TheMan21 Posted May 31, 2012 Share Posted May 31, 2012 I finished the "The Only Cure" Quest but after some time Peryite talked to me again while I did other Quests and I couldn't cancel it (I had to Quit the Game with the Task Manager). Now when I load an earlier savegame Peryite talks instant to me! I only can load a 2 weeks old savegame, but after 2 hours the bug came again. Does anyone knows how to fix that? Tidus44 Posted May 31, 2012 Share Posted May 31, 2012 That sounds pretty serious if you have completed the quest and it still initiates randomly. Once the quest is completed it should be completed and done. Also, the quest trigger is talking to Kesh, so it is mystifying why it would randomly initiate. What exactly does Peryite say when talking? A bug can be initiated if you were talking to Peryite and cancelled (hit escape key to exit the conversation) before the conversation finished but it supposedly only caused a freeze rather than random initiation of the quest. Is the quest still in the journal? Did you fully complete it by speaking to Peryite and then to Kesh after returning from the Dwemer ruin? Try using the console and type setstage DA13 100 when it happens as this is the stage that completes the quest and should end it. If this does not work, I would suggest there is something pretty corrupted in your game. Verifying the data files may aid in fixing it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
