CredibleJoe
Hello everyone. This topic is about weapon enchantments. Normally, I never had a problem with Oblivion and Skyrim weapon enchantments-- it was slightly inconvenient to have to soul trap and charge your weapon, but on the whole, you could wring enough use out of any weapon so that it wasn't too much of a bother. But now, I notice that most levelled weapons have a very limited amount of charges-- I acquired the Nightingale blade and bow at an early level, and I barely get 25 swings and shots before they run out. A friend of mine plays Morrowind (which I have never played) and told me about the differences in enchanting. Apparently all items that can be evoked have a limited number of charges, but will slowly recharge on their own without the use of a soul gem, the same way a mage would gather magicka. Is there any way to replicate this system in skyrim? If this has already be done, could someone direct me to a mod that would do this? I would appreciate that greatly. P.S.-- Not looking for an infinite charge mod. Feel like that would break the game. I enjoy challenge and complexity... Maybe I should just play Morrowind. But in either case, no infinite charges. kevkiev
You need to get the associated perk for this, but perhaps this mod is what you're looking for?
CredibleJoe
That looks nice. I think I'll download that one, at least until/unless someone designs the mod I described. Thanks a lot. :]
