StarkeyGS
I made a mod for fallout new vegas and i imported some files i wanted like "rubbleblockade" and some "museums" from fallout 3 to my NV mod. I put the files in the geck and I played it in-game and the mod works Great for me. i sent it to a friend to play and he said there was red dimond (bugs) on everything that i imported from fallout 3, "it works perfctly for me" but it is buggy for my friend. Note: This is what i think is the problem but i have no way of knowing so if you no the answer please tell me. 1) He dose not have FOMOD Manager or Archive Invalidation2) He dose not have Fallout 3 installed (we both use Window XP for gaming)
LusifurTheSchnozzle
I'd imagine the lack of Fallout 3 would be the problem. I'm not a modder though. Did the file/mod you gave him contain the assets..?
WastelandAssassin
Lusifur got it right for sure the red diamonds with the exclamation marks in them mean missing meshes, which are the three dimensional models the game usesif you didn't send your friend the assets you have imported from Fallout 3, then he can't see them (you can't see what isn't there) also, you should always have Archive Invalidation, which could also cause the same effect, if it's not used basically, you've answered your own question with the two notes you wrote
