ISO Workshop Compass that shows XYZ

Recommended Posts

As the title states, I have been searching for a workshop mode compass that shows X/Y/Z orientation.

As yet, I have not been able to find such a mod, so if anyone knows of one (or decides to make one), would certainly be interested.

(An added bonus would be Workbench location & distance information, but more of a 'wish list' tick than a necessary item.)

The information in this mod, https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17521 , may be able to help you depending on what you want to accomplish. This next is found on that page under ( posts )

Placing new house at same position where old one is:
1. In order to scrap old houses in Sanctuary or elsewhere you need Mod called Scrap Everything

2. And to place new houses to excact same place where the old one is you need Mod called Place Everywhere

Before executing these steps at first time please make a new save cause if something went wrong you can load that save and try again!!

US Keyboard: <--Click to see image
1. Highlight (don't pick) the object you want to copy the coordinates FROM, and hit =
2. At this point you can scrap old object
3. Then highlight the object you want to copy the coordinates TO, then hit 0

Fin/Swe Keyboard: <--Click to see image
1. Highlight (don't pick) the object you want to copy the coordinates FROM, and hit + (NOT the one in numpad)
2. At this point you can scrap old object
3. Then highlight the object you want to copy the coordinates TO, then hit 0 (NOT the one in numpad)

If you don't wanna use those above mods here is Enkidu98's guide how to do it without them! Click the Show button below.
Spoiler:
Show I don't see why this wouldn't work for other objects.

Sorry about that, use the link I posted to get to " Easy Homebuilder and Working Double Beds. Go to the posts section, the third red highlighted box down by Hozsa, has the spoiler I was referencing. I don't know why my copied link didn't work. But it does show you how to manually get and use exact coordinates.
