klixstix
I've recently installed the Rudy ENB 4.0 for the old version of Skyrim (I haven't given up on it just yet), and nearly everything in my game has been working flawlessly with 50 - 60 fps and no CTDs. The only real problem I have are these really pronounced distant black clouds I see whenever I am in snowy weather or pass by large light/particle sources. They've appeared in every other ENB I've installed, but they weren't as obvious and I was able to ignore them. They don't affect the performance at all but visually they completely ruin the immersion for me when they're as noticeable as right now. I noticed that they turn black whenever snow particles pass in front of them (in snowy weather) and flicker when I move my character much like mountains do with Z-fighting. They only disappear whenever I COMPLETELY disable the ENB (no tweaks from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/70026/ or my own have made any change to the problem, for better or worse). I've tried uninstalling all the mods that could possibly affect weather and particles and changing all sorts of values in the enbseries and Skyrim ini files to no avail. The weather/LOD/lighting mods I use are Vivid Weathers, ELFX with Enhancer (no Weather), DynDOLOD, and Revamped Exterior Fog. I use BethINI, LOOT, Tes5Edit (for cleaning), and Nexus Mod Manager (Ik I should use Mod Organizer but so far I haven't had the need to). I have a GTX 1060 with up-to-date drivers, 16GB of RAM, and an i5-3570K. I'm no professional modder or anything, but I love how my game looks and works right now and I'd really appreciate any possible solutions or advice on how to fix the issue (mods, ini changes, NifSkope edits, Creation Kit edits, etc). Thanks. Load Order Skyrim.ini SkyrimPrefs.ini enbseries.ini
