Deleted2782964User
hi - i'm editing a mesh and have scaled up the shoulders so much that they don't connect to the body anymore- the question is : how can i bend PART of the model ?
Evangela
It's been some years since I last did 3D modeling, but I think you need to use a modifier called bend(not being sarcastic)? Max 2015 should have it. Edited August 10, 2018 by Rasikko
Deleted2782964User
- i know about the " Bend " modifier BUT it bends the whole model , i only need to bend the front rivets of the shoulder to the chest- if the whole model is bend it screws up the details
ehtyeci
You can use soft selection with "Edge Distance" checked to limit the influence to contiguous geometry. Then it's just a matter of moving it the old fashion way. Another way is to detatch the mesh, do your edits, then re-attach.
